Empire Cuci

Problem, trade-offs, implementation, and outcome for this project.

Empire Cuci

Laravel

Problem

Empire Cuci needed a modern service website that could do more than simply display company information. Customers needed an easier way to explore services, understand estimated pricing, request quotations and contact the business without going through a long manual process.

The business also needed a centralized system to manage service pricing, content, galleries, FAQs and customer enquiries.

Technical decisions

  • Used Laravel as the main application framework
  • Built a database-driven service and pricing structure
  • Implemented a multi-step quotation flow
  • Separated public website and administration functionality
  • Stored customer enquiries before redirecting users to WhatsApp
  • Made service prices configurable from the admin panel
  • Used responsive layouts for desktop and mobile users
  • Structured content such as services, gallery, FAQ and articles as manageable modules

Challenge

The main challenge was turning a traditional service website into a system where service information, quotation calculations and customer enquiries work together.

Pricing also needed to remain flexible so that the business could update service rates without modifying application code.

How I solved it

I structured the application around reusable service and pricing data instead of hard-coding information into individual pages.

The quotation process was divided into simple steps where the customer's selections are used to calculate an estimated price. Customer information and enquiry details are recorded by the application before the customer continues the conversation through WhatsApp.

I also created an administration layer so the business can manage its services, pricing, clients, articles, galleries, FAQs and website settings from one place.

Architecture at a glance

  1. Browser / Mobile Browser
  2. Laravel Web Application
  3. Business Logic & Quotation Engine
  4. Service & Content Management Modules
  5. Database
  6. WhatsApp Integration
  7. Admin Dashboard

Outcome

The final system provides Empire Cuci with both a customer-facing website and an internal management platform.

Customers can understand available services, obtain an estimated quotation and contact the business through a smoother flow, while administrators can update important website information without changing the source code.
